Dan Hill	Blues Based/Hard Rock Guitarist Available Posted: Wed Aug 25, 2010 I am looking to form or join a band-prefer 3 pc or 3pc w/frontperson format. I want to play some covers and perhaps write n record some original stuff too. I've played old school 70's, to 80's hardrock/shred, to heavier stuff like Metallica/Godsmack. I can do some vocals, not much range-kinda ZZish Hendrixy blues sounding. My lead style falls between blues flavored to hard rock-with a dash or 2 of shred. Think the solos from "Ice Cream Man" or "Satch Boogie" kind of feel n vibe, although I can cop a more Texas blues feel or more hard rock/metal thing too. Influences run from EVH/ Michael Schenker(UFO MSG) Nugent/Rush/Queen/Sabbath/Trower/Travers/Satriani/ZZ/SRV/Malmsteen/AIC/Metallica, and a lot more in and outside that whole genre. Not interested in playing "Modern Rock" per say, already too many bands out there doing it, and it just aint my forte. I want to play stuff that isnt being done anymore, or hasnt been done period. A set list may include a version of some of these numbers like: Stone Cold Crazy/Stranglehold/Highway Star/Day of The Eagle/Ace of Spades/Ice 9/Born Under a Bad Sign/Lights Out/Snortin Whiskey. Absolutely dying to get out and play, lets get a set together and get out there!
