Posted: Sun Mar 29, 2015

Established current rock pop and country band with seasoned musicians looking for a female lead vocalist with strong lead vocal and back up vocal abilities. Ideally, the candidate would be able to handle about 15 lead vocal songs and strong harmonies on most of the rest of the songs. Lead vocal examples like : Who Knew (Pink) Who Says You Can't Go Home (The Jennifer Nettles part) Black Horse Cherry Tree (KT Tunstell) Little White Church (Little Big Town) Gun Powder and Lead (Miranda Lambert) Put the Gun Down (ZZ Ward) Rolling in the Deep (Adele) Down in Mississippi (Sugarland) What's Up (4 Non Blondes) and a few more.

We rehearse in the Cazenovia area. We do not gig full time, so expect to only be booked 1-3 times a month. We spent many years gigging for the money, now we do it for fun.

Led Zeppelin Tribute needs Robert Plant NOW!
Posted: Sat Apr 03, 2010
***WE ARE STILL LOOKING-Ad will be deleted only when we have found our singer!***
We're a Syracuse based Led Zeppelin tribute band, with shows booked around Central New York. We need a new Robert Plant! We play a half-step lower to enable a sane person to be able to hit those notes, but this is still a challenging position. The music comes first, but we have 90% of the catalogue DOWN at this point. We have a full pa, lights, and rehearsal space. The 3 of us are very committed to this, and with the right frontman, we are ready to hit this one out of the park!
You don't have to look exactly like Plant, but you should be comfortable as the Frontman on a stage. Most important of course is the voice. Please have a lot of knowledge of Zep's catalogue, or have the time, desire and ABILITY to learn it fast.
We rehearse on sunday afternoons at 3pm in Solvay, and one evening during the week at 7:30 pm (this is somewhat flexible). Gigs are mostly on weekends. We get paid when we play. If you think you fit the bill, contact Sean at 877-8230, or just reply to this ad. Even if you don't get the part, we are fun to hang out with for at least one good Zeppelin jam!
Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
