SyracuseBands.net will be shutting down Monday, October 29, 2018.

It's with great sadness that I announce that Syracuse Bands will be shutting down at the end of this month. It's been awesome building and managing this site since 2005. Through the years I've been proud to host this site for all local musicians and helping to promote them. However, over the last handful of years, there have been fewer users on the site, and more bands are joining other platforms with a larger audience. These, along with a few other reasons, I've decided to close down the site.

Thank you all for using the site and being a part of Syracuse Bands.

Syracuse Bands - South Hall Riot

Modern Rock

South Hall Riot is an Alternative Progressive Modern Metal Rock band (Sometimes referred to as "Riot Rock" by members of the band and other fans. Hailing from Auburn, NY (Home of the Auburn Prison and the first execution by the electric chair), the band consists of five musicians who share the same determination and passion for music; Ken Adams (Guitar), Sean Conway (Drums), Ryan Coughlin (Vocals), Loren Littlejohn (Guitar), and Mark Veator (Bass). Among the many top priorities kept in mind with the group, one of the most important is to keep the music as original as they can and to please their fans and other followers of the so called "Riot Rock" genre. In 2006, they released their debut album "Prison Break" to the local and CNY regional music scene and are beginning to record their second full length album this month.
